Our Team
We are only as good as our amazing staff! We are truly proud of our team of care professionals. They are equally committed to providing excellent person centred care, often going above and beyond our clients and our expectations. They are compassionate, caring, have loads of common sense… and equally have a wonderful sense of humour!
I would happily employ any of them to care for my family members (in fact, I have).
All our staff are fully trained, hold enhanced DBS certification, are fully insured, have completed all mandatory certifications, and undergo continual training. We totally support them in pursuing any particular interests they may have, and will find them the appropriate training.
We have access to many wellbeing support groups for anyone needing additional mental or physical support, as well as us being there to help.
We have medication and enablement leads, at present, all working with management to promote best practice and ensure all regulatory guidelines are adhered to. We also have an enablement lead who collates a life history for each client so everyone can have an engaging, stimulating visit. This is particularly important for our clients with dementia. We always get to know our clients and their families.
We have purchased a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle, to give our wheelchair bound clients the opportunity to go “out and about” and visit places normally not accessible to them. We strongly believe in equality for all, and this is an opportunity to put our philosophy into action! We love giving our clients and their families chances to make lasting memories.
Appropriate Handed Care
We are proud to be the first company to take part in an innovative pilot scheme in collaboration with Livewell Intermediate Care Team. This is to develop an ‘appropriate handed’ plan that can be rolled out nationwide. This allows safe manual handling techniques, with appropriate equipment.

Polly Redman | Company Director
“We set this company up in 2018 to try and meet some of this demand. I am proud to say we now have an excellent team working with us and have a superb relationship with other healthcare professionals in the Tavistock area. We pride ourselves on providing totally “person centred” care, unique to each individual. Not only supporting people to remain safe and well in their own homes, but providing life enhancing enablement.
Our new wheelchair accessible vehicle is already providing liberating independence to many!”

Gemma | Registered Manager
“I’ve worked in health and social care for over 20 years in various roles in both care homes and Derriford hospital before starting work in community care in 2017.
It’s a role I thoroughly enjoy, spending time with clients in their homes and own surroundings really helps to give person centred care. Seeing the difference we make to peoples quality of lives is just amazing. From getting people out of the home in our wheel chair accessible van to caring for those who wish to have their last days at home in familiar surroundings. The job is a privilege and one I’m fortunate to do in such a wonderful team.”

“Working in the role of a Community Support Carer can be a challenge but also very rewarding supporting our clients to live as independently as they can in their home. I look forward to seeing my clients and when they smile and look forward to seeing you, you know you’re making a difference. We have fun too and enjoy outings.
At the heart of our team is a very supportive management who care about their clients as well as the staff. We all are committed and go above and beyond because our clients deserve it & we feel appreciated by them and management.”

“This type of work suits me down to the ground. I work as many hours as I need and am able to be flexible. I’m out and about in the community helping some wonderful people live in their own homes. The team communicates regularly, so there is always someone to talk to if I have an issue. Training is ongoing, so always up to date. Management put a lot of time, effort and care into both staff and clients, so what is there not to like? I’m proud to be a Pinkie”

“My job helps enables people to stay independent, by taking them shopping so they have a choice in the food that they would like, take them out on day trips which gives them freedom of choices of places they would like to visit or go.”

“Do I like my job? I am often asked this question. I can say without hesitation - yes!
All my clients are very kind and friendly people with a great sense of humour and love for life. Each of them has their own story and incredible life experience, which I’m honoured that they choose to share with me. This is the value that I gain in communicating with them and it's wonderful. I am glad to be of service to them.
